  19. Video out is a composite video output source; composite meaning composed of
  20. the red, green, AND blue signals all on one wire. (an RGB cable seperates
  21. each of the colors). RF out combines all the colors AND sound, in a much
  22. more inneficient way. Think of it like this: Remember that thing you plug
  23. into your sega genesis, and then you screw it onto the cable jack of your
  24. TV? That's RF. You could take the old cable from your genesis, and hook it
  25. to the A520 "RF out" and then screw that bitch to a TV set and be up and
  26. running.

  29.     Now, did you ever see, say, a Sony PLaystation? It doesn't come with
  30. anything to hook to a TV set normally. It just comes with two RCA style
  31. jackies, one for video, one for audio. You have the same sort of jacks on the
  32. back of your VCR (audio in, video in, audio out video out). The "Video Out"
  33. port on the A520 exports JUST the video, and the audio comes from the
  34. amiga's built in audio ports. The video port is generally a more stable
  35. picture, use it if you have the capabilities..

  37.     oh yeah also if you're gonna use the RF out port, you need to find
  38. that black Y-cable that came with your A520. Hook the two ended sides into
  39. the left-right audio output, and then put the other side into the "audio in"
  40. port on the A520. otherwise you'll get no sound from your TV.
